SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (July 11, 2012) – After a frustrating debut at Sonoma on the road course three weeks ago, 17 year-old NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West rookie Dylan Hutchison will look to continue his oval track success when the series visits the 5/8ths mile Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA on Saturday.

The NAPA Auto Parts 150 will be a good opportunity for the driver of the #5 Bay Bio Diesel / Johnnie Walker Performance Chevrolet to get back to his short track roots, despite the speedway being one of the largest ovals on the schedule. Hutchison recently scored his career best series finish of eighth in early June at the Las Vegas Bullring along with a ninth place effort at the Brainerd International Raceway road course in Minnesota in May.

"I can't wait for Evergreen!" Hutchison said. "I'm starting to get used to driving bigger tracks and beginning to like them a lot. After watching some videos I'm pretty confident of how I will drive this track and my crew chief John Krebs has a lot of experience there so he has a good idea of how to set up the car."

Hutchison's Jack Sellers Racing team has visited Evergreen Speedway on 19 different occasions including a top-ten finish back in 1991. With 2011 All American Speedway NASCAR Late Model Rookie of the Year Hutchison behind the wheel, the team has a new attitude going into Evergreen.

"As a team we are really prepared and excited for this race," Hutchison said. "We hope to start getting some more top-tens to get back into the Rookie of the Year battle as well!"

The hotly contested NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West Sunoco Rookie of the Year battle has Hutchison trailing behind Cameron Hayley and Austin Dyne. With Evergreen representing the ninth race of the 15 race schedule, Hutchison will still have plenty of time to close in on the top-two if he has a strong run on Saturday.

Saturday's 150 lap contest will come on a worn out Evergreen Speedway surface where tire management is expected to be critical to make a set of tires last. No pit stops are allowed during the 90 mile race unless for the change of a flat tire or a mechanical problem.

Practices will be held at noon and 1:15 p.m. with qualifying at 4 p.m. and the NAPA Auto Parts 150 takes the green at 8 p.m. Race fans can follow the action live on www.NASCARHomeTracks.com with lap-by-lap coverage.
