SACRAMENTO, CA– 17 year-old Dylan Hutchison continues his 2012 NASCAR K&N Pro Series, West Rookie of the Year campaign on Saturday night, when the series will make its debut at Havasu 95 Speedway in Arizona for the "TOYOTA/NAPA 150". Hutchison drives the #5 Johnnie Walker Performance / Bay Bio Diesel Chevrolet for Jack Sellers Racing and car owner Charlie Silva.

Hutchison is coming to Havasu on the heels of a 23rd place finish in his Phoenix International Speedway debut last month and the rookie is looking forward to getting back to the short tracks like Havasu 95 Speedway. Havasu is listed as a quarter-mile speedway but is similar in size to the All American Speedway where Hutchison won the 2011 NASCAR Late Model Rookie of the Year.

"I hope to improve in a lot of ways," Hutchison said. "Everything from better communications with my crew chief about how the car is handling to being more patient. If we can come out of this race with a clean car and a decent finish I'll be happy!"

The Jack Sellers Racing team tested at the tight confines of Havasu last month to get familiar with the race track. A gritty surface and narrow racing groove will make for an interesting 150 lap event.

"Our series has never raced there so just being on the track should give us an advantage to those who haven't seen it," Hutchison said. "I have raced a lot of short tracks before so I'm pretty confident."

On Wednesday, Hutchison took a break from his studies at Del Campo High School to make an appearance at the Eibach Springs World Headquarters in Corona, Calif. Hutchison had the opportunity to tour the facility and see how racing springs are made.

Racing action on Saturday at Havasu 95 Speedway will see practices at 12:30 and 1:45 p.m., qualifying at 5 p.m., and the "TOYOTA/NAPA 150" scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. Race fans can follow Dylan's progress at hometracks.nascar.com where the series is providing lap-by-lap updates throughout the day.
